Improbox
Improbox could replace the original Infobox from Topfield.
It shows the running and the upcoming event ans also the progress of the running event in minutes and as a progressbar. Additional it shows the recording status of both tuners and the free diskspace (if disk is running) of the harddisk. If diskpace runs under 10% is will shows a yellow warning "LED".

DublettenFinder

This TAP saves all available information about every stored TV and radio channel in a text file. The contained Java program uses this file to show channel doublets. Among others it calculates the datarate and the number of EPG days.
With the contained Access database it is possible to make queries like "Decryptable channels", "English channels, "Show doublets", "Free to Air channels", "Channels with bad quality", "Channels without EPG", "Encrypted channels", etc.

TV AutoOff

The Display TAP enhances the information displayed in the 7-segment display of the TF5000PVR(t) while the receiver is on. The TAP can be configured to provide the following

- current time
- channel name
- record info: number/name of the channel being recorded and the remaining time
- playback info: the remaining playback time
The configuration menu can be entered by pressing the Exit key (by default) or the configured key.

Standby

Standby TAP turns off the receiver after an inactivity phase of the remote control. The duration of the inactivity phase is configurable. The TAP defers the shutdown if any of the following is true when the countdown is finished:
- a program is being recorded
- a file (Video/MP3) is being played back
- an event is scheduled in the next couple of minutes Pressing any key on the remote control restarts the countdown timer with the configured value. In the last ten minutes prior to a shutdown the TAP shows a message window.
While the message is shown the shutdown can be canceled by pressing any key on the remote control or on the receiver.

The idea of the Snake game is to eat the meal (diamonds&balls) to score points and the target is to get as much points as possible. At the beginning the Snake is short and the more you eat the longer your Snake grows and the more difficult it gets.
t is possible to go through trees (in some levels), but if the Snake run into stone or itself the game will end. Faster Snake speed and higher level gives more points per eating. With "Hall Of Fame" and possibility to save default speed & level parameters.

Advantages
• Recycle Bin
Instead of immediate deletion both files and folders can be moved into a virtual recycle bin. From here items can either be restored or deleted finally.
• Capability To Display All Files
Filer is not limited to standard file types like recordings or TAP files but allows to display and manage (rename, move, delete) all kind of files stored on hard disk.
• Watch Status For Recordings
For each recording Filer displays whether it has been watched fully or partially. The parts recordings have been watched are displayed in separate progress bars.

These blocks are recognised by their 2.0 audio tracks vs. the Dolby 5.1 mode of the main movie.
At the same time Overfly allows to reduce the volume of the analogue output while an advertising block is running.
Another feature is to patch the REC file so that the playback always starts with the Dolby Digital Track.

The TF5000Display TAP enhances the information displayed in the 7-segment display of the PVR while the receiver is on. The TAP can be configured to provide the following information:

current time
full or short channel name
record info: number/name of the channel being recorded and the elapsed/remaining time
playback info: the elapsed/remaining playback time, pause display, MP3 info
timeshift info: status and/or the time behind
warning if the HDD free size is below the specified threshold

Furthermore, the TAP provides a variety of modes for the green and the amber LEDs:

flash when recording

flash when timeshifting

MovieProgress_v3.2

Movie Progress can show a progress bar with time- or percentage values of the current event.
Using an editor on the PC the design and functionality can be customized. This editor generates a special file that has to be put into the same folder on the receiver where the TAP resides.

Bookmark on Stop

When "Stop" is pressed once on the RCU, a bookmark is set. When "Stop" is pressed twice during a configurable time span no bookmark is set. When "Stop" and the white key are pressed, the "delete" is opened and the recording can be deleted directly.
The time span can be configured in the .ini file.

FreeSpace_bar

FreeSpaceBar is a modifikation of Judy's FreeSpacePie-TAP (next TAP down) first by Marc and then by Tonymy01.
FreeSpaceBar shows the available HDD space as a Bar. This display shows the fill level, the free space, the complete HDD size, and an estimate of the time still available for recording with the current data rate. When TimeShift is deactivated, the data rate is fixed to 7MB/s!

TF5000 Screensaver

Trigger a screensaver when in radio/mp3 mode after 30secs of inactivity, randomly place text on the screen.

Enhancements that Tony pondering: customise the text, customise the delay in an ini file.
Added timeshift disable during radio mode (re-enables when going back to TV mode).

EPG_uploader

Basically it uploads EPG/EIT data straight into your EPG. The flat file format needs to be in the same format as the included TGD files if you want to use it overseas, and you are going to need to find a source of internet program guides to harvest to build up the TGD files. The included JavaXMLTV does the harvesting (only in Australia on one of our TV guide sources), and the TFtransfer application is used to do altair like transfers of the data to the Topfield.

tfSeasonPass
Record your favourite shows automatically on your Topfield TF5000pvrt.
tfSeasonPass will scan the TGD files for matches with a specified list of TV shows and automatically set the "record" flag against that entry. When the EPGuploader TAP read the TGD file it will create a timer event for shows flagged to be recorded. TFsearchTGD creates a "99999999.tgd" file containing entries for the programs to be recorded.Author: JS
